Erasmus +

Introduction of the program: Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD), is a prestigious, integrated, international study programme, jointly delivered by an international consortium of higher education institutions. Studying abroad is a central part of Erasmus+ and has been shown to have a positive effect on later job prospects. It is also an opportunity to improve language skills, gain self-confidence and independence and immerse yourself in a new culture. Erasmus+ also offers the chance to combine studying abroad with a traineeship. Opportunities are available for students at Bachelor, Master or Doctoral levels.
  3. Coverage/provision:
    1. Tuition Fee: Programme Country: The students belonging from programme countries of Erasmus+ will have up to € 4500 per year per scholarship as contribution to tuition fee of their study programme.
    2. Partner Country: The students belonging from partner countries of Erasmus+ will have up to € 9000 per year per scholarship as contribution to tuition fee of their study programme.
    3. Contribution to Travel Cost:
      1. Programme Country: The students belonging from programme countries will have € 1000 per year per scholarship as contribution to travel cost.
      2. Partner Country: The students belonging from partner countries whose location isles than 4000 km away from the country of hosting institution will have € 2000 per year per scholarship as contribution to travel cost. The students belonging from countries whose location is more than 4000 km away from the country of hosting institution will have € 3000 per year per scholarship as contribution to travel cost.
  • Note: For travel contribution, the resident of scholarship holder will be verified.
  1. Contribution to Installation Cost:
    1. Programme Country: Residents of programme countries not get any installation contribution.
    2. Partner country: Residents of partner countries will get € 1000 per scholarship.
  2. Contribution to subsistence costs: The residents of programme countries will get € 1000 per month for entire duration of JMD (joint master’s degree) study programme. The JMD study programme has 24 months duration. The contribution to subsistence cost will not be granted to An Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD) student of partner country if he/she has spent the entire research, thesis and placement duration in their country.
  1. Duration: An EMJMD is a study programme of 60, 90 or 120 ECTS credits. This means that it lasts from a minimum of 12 months, to a maximum of 24 months.
  1. Eligibility: Scholarship students must have already obtained a first higher education degree or demonstrate a recognised equivalent level of learning according to national rules and legislation in place by the application deadline. Students who have already obtained an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees (EMJMD) scholarship or are former Erasmus Mundus Master/Doctoral Course scholarship holders are not eligible for an additional scholarship under the EMJMD action. Students benefiting from an EMJMD scholarship cannot benefit from another EU grant while pursuing their EMJMD studies.

 

  1. For given academic year student candidates can apply for maximum three different joint programmes supported by the Erasmus Mundus scholarships A full and timely application is necessary to apply. Check the menu on the left for required documents.
  2. All applicants must provide proof of English proficiency by submitting test results from any of the following: CAE/CPE, TOEFL or IELTS. The minimum test scores required to join the Euroculture Programme are:
  3. TOEFL paper-based: 580 or TOEFL iBT (internet-based): 92
  4. IELTS – Academic: minimum overall score 6.5, with no part (listening, reading, speaking, writing) under 6.0
  5. CAE or CPE – Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), C1 or Cambridge Proficiency in English (CPE), C2
