1.    CSC Scholarship (Deadline: November to April)

  • Introduction of the program: With a view to enhance educational cooperation between China and Pakistan the Chinese Scholarship Council Govt. of China is offering Pakistani students/scholars to study and conduct research in Chinese universities. China Scholarship Council (CSC), entrusted by the Ministry of Education of People’s Republic of China, is responsible for the enrollment and the administration of Chinese Government Scholarship programs. Now 289 designated Chinese universities offer a wide variety of academic programs in Science, Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine, Economics, Legal studies, Management, Education, History, Literature, Philosophy and Fine arts for scholarship recipients at all levels.
  • Coverage/provision:
    1. A tuition fee waiver is provided. It may cover scholarship students’ education, administration costs and expenditures to support student activities and health insurance.
    2. Accommodation: free university dormitory or accommodation subsidy.
    3. Stipend:
      Master’s students/general scholars: 3,000 RMB per month.
      Doctoral students/senior scholars: 3,500 RMB per month.
    4. Travel Expenditure: Travel expenditure would be borne by the scholarship winners themselves.
    5. On arrival adjustment and supportive allowance.
2. CAS ANSO Scholarship (Deadline: October to February)

  • Introduction of the program: The Alliance of National and International Science Organizations for the Belt and Road Regions (ANSO) is a non-profit, non-governmental international organization founded in 2018. Founding members include the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and 36 other scientific institutions, universities, and international organizations worldwide. CAS-ANSO Scholarship has two categories: degree program and non-degree program. The degree program supports 100 to 200 Master’s students and 300 PhD students every year to pursue postgraduate education at following host institute,

  • Programs Eligibility
    1. be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China and be in good health both mentally and physically.
    2. be a bachelor’s degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for master’s programs.
    3. be a master’s degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for doctoral programs.
    4. meet the admission requirements of the applied universities in terms of academic ability, language proficiency and other relevant criteria.

  • Document Requirements
    1. A clearly scanned copy of the personal information page on the valid passport.
    2. A clearly scanned copy of the Bachelor’s (Master program applicants and PhD program applicants) and master’s degree (PhD program applicants) certificates. A scanned copy of the pre-graduation certificate is required if the applicant has not yet earned a bachelor’s or master’s degree certificate.
    3. Notarized scanned copy of the academic transcript and degree (Bachelor and Master study). Must be verified from University and HEC.
    4. Study plan based on the prescribed form (Can be found on admission section of university website).
    5. Supervisor Acceptance Letter from Host Institute.
    6. Physical Health Certificate (Certified by Local Govt. Hospital).
    7. Police Clearance (Last 6 months).
    8. Recommendation Letter (Previous Supervisor or from Teacher who know you for the last two years).
    9. English test report such as IELTS, or TOEFL, Duolingo, or PTE if you would like to apply for CSC scholarship (Depends on the University requirement).
    10. Attested copies of other awards or academic achievements (if any), including the publications.
