SCHOLARSHIP FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Details on Scholarships:

  • NUST offers various scholarships in the form of waivers of various percentages on tuition fees for UG, MS & PhD students.
  • NUST also offers international students Fee Remission scholarship that will adjust their fee to be equivalent to the tuition fee for national students.
  • Enrolment and subsequent offer of scholarships to international students depend on the availability of seats in the particular program under the guidelines set by the regulatory bodies. i.e. PEC and NCEAC etc.

Criteria for Eligibility:

  • Aligned with the Government the Government of Pakistan’s commitment to fostering diplomatic ties, and establishing professional connections with friendly nations, as well as supporting the development of countries grappling with underdevelopment or post- conflict situations, diverse scholarship opportunities for undergraduate, MS & PhD degree programs—covering only tuition fees.
  • All international students who meet the admission eligibility criteria are eligible to apply for scholarships. The Scholarship Application Review Committee will assess applications based on various factors, including academic profile, financial need, leadership qualities, and community service.

Application Process and Deadlines:

  • To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must include a 300-400-word personal statement in their admission application and select the relevant option in the online application indicating their desire for admission consideration on a scholarship basis.
  • This statement should emphasize their motivation for pursuing the chosen program, career objectives, the impact of the scholarship on their academic and professional journey, and showcase leadership skills, projects, or community service involvement during their studies.
  • The Scholarship Application Review Committee will evaluate scholarship applications, considering factors such as academic performance, diversity, inclusivity, and long-term impact on scholarship recipients, financial need, career objectives, leadership qualities, and community service.
