Who can Apply as International Student?

The following categories can only apply for international seats:

    1. International Students (Non Pakistani nationals who require a visa to study in Pakistan) – to apply click here: https://intl-admission.nust.edu.pk/
    2. Pakistanis, dual National Pakistanis, and POC Card & NICOP Card holders apply here: https://ugadmissions.nust.edu.pk/

General Eligibility Criteria:

    1. Minimum 60% marks in Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or equivalent qualifications in the relevant group/ subjects.
    2. International candidates will have to obtain Equivalence certificates for SSC and HSSC or equivalent qualifications (e.g., Cambridge Overseas Higher School Certificate, British General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level), American High School Graduation Diploma, International Baccalaureate Diploma) with a minimum of 60% marks in relevant groups/subjects from IBCC, Pakistan, which is a mandatory requirement.     4. International applicants are evaluated based on SAT/ACT scores. ACT / SAT scores are valid for two years only. Requirement of ACT / SAT Score for different programme is as under: –

e. International applicants who do not have ACT / SAT scores can apply  on the basis of their country’s recognised university admission test. For instance:

      1. EmSAT – Emirates Standardised Test
      2. GaoKao (China)
      3. UTME (Nigeria)
      4. Konkour (Afghanistan & Iran)
      5. TYT or AYT (Turkey)
      6. TGAT or TPAT (Thailand)
Admission Timeline for International Students:

NUST has introduced rolling admissions for international students, providing greater flexibility and convenience in the application process. This allows prospective students to apply at any time throughout the year, with applications reviewed and decisions made on an ongoing basis for admissions in both the Spring(January) and Fall(September) of every year.

Admission Processing Fee (Non-Refundable) USD 600
Tuition Fee (per annum) USD 5400*
Security Deposit (Refundable) USD 250
Health facilities (per annum) USD 120
Additional “Harvard Business school licensing fee” will be charged to undergraduate students of BBA and BS Accounting & Finance @ USD 40 Per year
 
Scholarships:
    1. NUST offers various scholarships in the form of bursaries on tuition fees for UG students.
    2. NUST also offers international students Fee Remission scholarship that will adjust their fee to be equivalent to the tuition fee for national students.
    3. All eligible international students can apply, evaluated based on academic profile, financial need, leadership, and community service.
    4. Enrolment and subsequent offer of scholarships to international students depend on the availability of seats in the particular program under the guidelines set by the regulatory bodies. i.e. PEC and NCEAC etc.
Scholarship Application Process:
    1. Applicants must submit a 300-400-word personal statement with their admission application, selecting the scholarship option.
    2. The statement should highlight motivation, career objectives, impact of the scholarship, leadership, and community service.
    3. The Scholarship Application Review Committee considers academic performance, diversity, financial need, leadership, and community service.

Accommodation:

Hostel accommodation for the international students is guaranteed however students have to apply for hostel. These on-campus hostels offer convenient housing for international students. Hostels offer fully furnished bedrooms with an Internet connection and are located within walking distance of schools and cafeterias. If you receive an offer from NUST, we’ll also send you information on how to apply for accommodation. You should apply for accommodation as soon as possible.
