NUST SCHOLARSHIP FOR SYRIAN STUDENTS

  • Eligibility: Students and researchers from Syria applying for full-time degree programs at the undergraduate (UG), master’s (MS), or PhD levels, or for research/teaching opportunities at NUST.
  • Opportunities for Researchers:

    • Number of Positions:

      • 05 positions: For inbound senior researchers engaged in teaching or research.
      • 05 positions: For inbound researchers pursuing MS or PhD programs.

    • Benefits:

      • Senior researchers: Stipend based on skill and experience, while being responsible for airfare, accommodation, messing, and other associated costs.
      • MS & PhD researchers: Free accommodation while researchers cover airfare, messing, and associated costs.
  • Opportunities for Students:

    • Number of Seats:

      • 05 seats: For full-time degree programs at the UG, MS, and PhD levels.

    • Benefits:

      • Up to 80% tuition fee waiver based on the student’s ability. Students must bear the remaining tuition fees, airfare, accommodation, messing, and other associated costs.
Application Process and Deadlines:
  • To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must include a 300-400-word personal statement in their admission application at https://intl-admission.nust.edu.pk/ and select the relevant option in the online application indicating their desire for admission consideration on a scholarship basis.

  • This statement should emphasize their motivation for pursuing the chosen program, career objectives, the impact of the scholarship on their academic and professional journey, and showcase leadership skills, projects, or community service involvement during their studies.
  • The Scholarship Application Review Committee will evaluate scholarship applications, considering factors such as academic performance, diversity, inclusivity, and long-term impact on scholarship recipients, financial need, career objectives, leadership qualities, and community service.
