SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
NUST offers a variety of scholarships aimed at supporting international students. These scholarships are designed to provide financial relief and opportunities to talented students who wish to pursue their education at NUST. Below is an overview of the scholarships available:
NUST Scholarships:
- NUST offers various scholarships in the form of bursaries on tuition fees for UG, MS & PhD students.
- NUST also offers international students Fee Remission scholarship that will adjust their fee to be equivalent to the tuition fee for national students.
- All eligible international students can apply, evaluated on academic profile, financial need, leadership, and community service.

Country Specific NUST Scholarships

Application Process and Deadlines:
- To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must include a 300-400-word personal statement in their admission application at https://intl-admission.nust.edu.pk/ and select the relevant option in the online application indicating their desire for admission consideration on a scholarship basis.
- This statement should emphasize their motivation for pursuing the chosen program, career objectives, the impact of the scholarship on their academic and professional journey, and showcase leadership skills, projects, or community service involvement during their studies.
- The Scholarship Application Review Committee will evaluate scholarship applications, considering factors such as academic performance, diversity, inclusivity, and long-term impact on scholarship recipients, financial need, career objectives, leadership qualities, and community service.
External Scholarships:
a. HEC Allama Iqbal Scholarship for Afghan Students

- Administered by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
- Aimed at Afghan students seeking undergraduate, graduate, or PhD degrees in Pakistan.

b. HEC Allama Iqbal Scholarship for Sri Lankan Students
