Capacity Building with ERASMUS+

5- As part of NUST Study Abroad Drive Fall 2021, students were also introduced to B-international Project including NUST internationalisation Centre, which is soon to be inaugurated. First webinar series were held from 4th to 8th October 2021 and second webinar series took place from 8th to 12th November 2021.

4- It is always a wonderful feeling when a project starts coming to life. Thanks to ERASMUS, we received some equipment to get our virtual classroom ready for proper functioning. Under the ERASMUS+ B-International project, the NUST International Office staff can be observed testing the equipment and setting up the room. We are working with enthusiasm and dedication to achieve the goal of improving internationalisation in our institution. It is truly exciting to take the small steps which will bring this big project to fruition.

3- As time passes along, so does the uncertainty with the pandemic. Sadly, our European partners could not travel to Pakistan. Nonetheless, B-International project is proceeding at full swing and we are getting closer to our goals of improving internationalisation throughout Pakistan. We are very excited to get underway with all the local training sessions and getting our internationalisation virtual classroom ready. Thanks to our European partners, NUST is well on track to improve internationalisation. 2- A series of eight internationalisation workshops as part of Work Package 1 of the B-International project were delivered via the Microsoft Teams platform by our colleagues Frederic Dorel and Caroline Kerello of Ecole Centrale de Nantes, France. The excellent training sessions resulted in some fruitful discussions on understanding what Internationalisation at Home and Internationalisation Abroad entails for different institutions. These workshops laid thewww foundation of the road ahead towards completing the objectives of this project. We are looking forward to the next activities and involving our staff and students in this project soon!

Stay tuned for further B-International updates as we progress into more in-depth training as part of Work Package 2!
